Summer workshop "Horta and japan" ~ 8-12.07.19
For this third edition of the summer workshop, we collaborated with the Horta Museum and Le Quef asbl! This year the theme was Japan and its influence in Horta's work. We spent a beautiful week dedicated to Art Nouveau and Victor Horta, Japan, martial arts, yokai and sushi!
Banad Festival ~ 24 & 25.03.18
The weekend of the 24th & 25th march 2018 the BANAD Festival happened at the Autrique House and it was . . . amazing !
Guided tours in french, english and dutch every 30 minutes accompanied the visitors discovering the house !

Summer workshop "En avant comme en avant" ~ 3-6.07.17
From 3 to 6 July 2017, the Autrique House hosted a dozen of children from the CPAS of the Brussels city. This project, in partenship with the Hortamuseum and the Fondation Civa Stichting, lasted a week. It aimed at a cultural immersion inside Art nouveau. More information in French here.

Mrs Françoise Aubry, art historian and curator of the Horta Museum has been invited by the municipality of Schaerbeek to speak about "The Autrique House between two styles". Everybody had the chance to discover or learn a bit more about the characteristics of Horta's work and especially the break down with his earlier constructions and the Autrique house.
Kommissia Festival ~ 15-21.05.17
From 15 to 21 may, The Autrique House was in Moscow to participate at the 2017 edition of the famous comic strip festival Kommissia. During the week, we displayed the exhibition Kronikas which included unpublished boards and texts of Izquierdo, Lysbeth Daumont, Adanoe & Yemeli, Montos, Jean-Marc Dubois, Jeroen Janssen & Hilde Baele, François Schuiten, L'atelier Coup de Fouet & Thierry Mondelaers and Étienne Schréder. Étienne Schréder, administrator of the Autrique House, presented a conference showing the engagement of the museum within many international comics projects (Cuba and Alger). Finally, the week ended with some visits of Art nouveau interiors such as The Gorki House and The Scriabine Museum.
