Loisirs-Plezier Brussels 1920-1940

To mark the Year of Art Deco, Maison Autrique invites you to explore the leisure and daily life of Brussels’ residents during the interwar period. This was a time of energy and innovation, defined by the thrill of speed, the rise of talking cinema, the magic of radio, and the growing popularity of sports and entertainment.
Through posters, photographs, objects, and illustrations, immerse yourself in a vibrant and inventive Brussels, shaped by talented artists and graphic designers such as Leo Marfurt and René Magritte. A captivating journey into the creativity and optimism of this remarkable era.
