Trio Memento - Tour du monde en 80 notes

Inspired by Jules Verne’s novel Around the World in 80 Days, this programme stops in Belgium, Spain, the Czech Republic, Armenia, China, Korea, Ireland, North America, and Latin America. Through works by Joseph Jongen, Tomás Bretón, Schubert, Smetana, Piazzolla, and many more, the trio offers a musical exploration of the world's cultures, where each note tells a story and each melody evokes a distant landscape.

The Trio Memento is composed of Pierre Vopat (violin), Alvaro Quintero (cello), and Jung Bin Lim (piano). These three musicians, from different parts of the world, met at the Royal Conservatories of Brussels, united by their passion for chamber music. In 2017, they founded the ensemble with the ambition of delivering both faithful and innovative interpretations of the great repertoire. Graduating Summa cum laude, they refined their artistry under the guidance of renowned masters such as Éric Robberecht, Vincent Coq, and Jean-Marc Phillips-Varjabédian.

Since its creation, the trio has performed on prestigious stages in Belgium and France, including BOZAR, KlaraFestival, Festival Musicorum, and Midi Minimes. As residents at Chamber Music for Europe, they continue their pursuit of excellence and innovation in the interpretation of piano trio repertoire. Their musical chemistry and passion for sound exploration make each concert an immersive and captivating experience.

The concert will be followed by a drink with the musicians.

Registrations

Your registration is confirmed once the full payment for your tickets has been received. If the payment has not reached Maison Autrique, we reserve the right to request proof of payment before allowing access to the concert.
Registration for the concert does not grant access to the exhibition. Attendees may only enter spaces designated for the concert.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be reported immediately (by post or email).

Refund policy:

• Cancellations up to one month before the concert: Maison Autrique reserves the right to retain 25% of the amount as administrative fees.

• Cancellations within 15 days before the concert: no refund, unless we find another attendee. In this case, you will be refunded 75%.

• Leaving the concert early does not entitle you to a refund.

Materials damage

If attendees damage any equipment provided, they will be held responsible for its replacement.
